Comfora is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for all members, experienced or not, in our community. Experiencing harassment, discrimination, or any form of harmful behavior is not tolerated and appropriate moderation actions for will take place according to the ‘s policies and listed Comfora guidelines. We encourage open and respectful communication, and we expect all members to adhere to these guidelines to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

General Rules

  1. Be respectful towards everyone no matter race, sexuality, and or beliefs
  2. No harassment, hate speech or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.
  3. Continuous hate or targeted attacks, including jokes that go too far, are prohibited.
  4. Actions influenced by monetary bribes or similar offers are strictly forbidden.
  5. Community moderators are not Comfora Employees, so don’t treat them as employees as they are volunteers from the community.
    • Community moderators may be given read-only or restricted access to internal Comfora SSO enabled services in order to assist you as much as they can, they reserve the right to notify a Comfora employee for further inquires.
  6. Comfora is a English Only Discord server to improve conversations, planned inclusions for more languages are in motion but for current day, it’s english only.

Content and Discussions

  1. No NSFW Content: Avoid posting or sharing any NSFW or obscene material.
  2. Respect for Opinions: Allow space for diverse opinions; avoid escalating arguments or making personal attacks.
  3. Political and Sensitive Topics: Keep political and highly sensitive discussions out of the main channels.

Community Conduct

  1. No Spam or Unapproved Promotions: Do not spam or promote content without staff approval.
  2. No Threats: Threatening or harmful behavior is strictly prohibited.
  3. Conflict Resolution: Work to defuse conflicts rather than exacerbating them.

Channel Use and Etiquette

  1. Stay On Topic: Use channels for their designated purposes. Move off-topic conversations to appropriate channels.
  2. Maintain Quality Conversations: Encourage meaningful discussions and avoid repetitive or trivial chatter.

Administration and Moderation

  1. Follow Discord TOS: Adhere to all Discord Terms of Service guidelines.
  2. Moderator Authority: Decisions made by moderators or higher staff members are final. Repeated attempts to counter or dispute these decisions are grounds for a ban.
  3. Reporting and Support: Use designated channels (e.g., #tickets) for moderation-related queries and support needs.

Integrity and Fair Play

  1. No Bribery: Decisions should never be influenced by bribes or external incentives.
  2. No Piracy or Illegal Activities: Discussions or actions related to piracy or illegal activities are forbidden.

Additional Rules

  1. Avoid Excessive Special Characters in Nicknames: Use easily readable names without impersonating public figures.
  2. Respect Privacy: Do not discuss or share details about punishments or private conversations without consent.
  3. No Problematic Content: Avoid sharing content that could induce epilepsy, crash the Discord client, or trigger antivirus warnings.

Enforcing and Adapting Rules

  • Regular Review: Continuously review and adapt the rules to ensure a positive and inclusive community environment.
  • Member Feedback: Encourage members to provide feedback on rules and community practices to foster an open and evolving community.
  • AI Suggestions: Using in-house local internal AI to suggest how we can improve our rules and guidelines for a better community.
